Sunny days

We’ve had pretty warm days here. Yesterday we had around +20C degrees but today it turned to colder again and I finally got the biggest flowerbed weeded. I still have one smaller one to weed and then the old climbing rose must be dug out and replaced with a new one.

Middlest son wants to try growing tomatoes and cucumbers. Tomatoes would probably like to be with the rose and cucumbers could be okay on our glass-walled balcony which can get really hot during summer.

Eldest son visited last Friday and he’s probably getting a summer job nearer here which is good bc their flat is being re-piped during late May to sometime in summer and he is moving back here for the time being so he’d take care of the plants while we are traveling in June.

Last week at work we had quite decent days since about all of the courses are finished and now there’s just the Finnish-for-foreigners and some language courses left. Friday was so quiet that I helped one of our recitation teachers take promo pics of her to her summer performance ads. We had great time too, she is so funny elderly lady and she got into character so I got a free performance while snapping photos 🙂

I went to movies on Wednesday to see Avengers : Endgame and I must confess that although some things in the story made me wonder in the end I was flabbergasted and the rest of the evening I just sat at home and had a ’movie-hangover’. It’s  a relative to book-hangovers.

While gardening I’ve been listening to Richard read me ’The fourth friend’ by Joy Ellis. I hope it’ll be better than the two previous parts which were quite predictable. Well, we’ll see.

Now I’m going to watch Umbrella academy and knit my cardi. Tomorrow I’m having an appointment with a foot therapist because of the Morton’s neuroma I have on both feet and later we have the Labour Union’s meeting which I’m taking part for the first time.
